Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER
This role is to provide technical engineering capability for the Web Operations team, responsible for supporting production systems and working with Agile development teams to delivery new services in a highly available and supportable configuration using DevOps processes and tooling providing. The Senior DevOps Engineer will provide technical leadership within the team, settings standards and championing them. They will engage with other DevOps Engineers, as well as coach and support DevOps engineer and Junior DevOps Engineers.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER
- Strong experience of AWS API Gateway supporting the development of RESTful APIs, Sagemaker Studio, Lambda and supporting AWS data services such as ElastiCache (Redis), Glue, SQS, Athena and Kafka
- Experience in working in DevOps and Agile environments
- Hands-on experience with Terraform to create, manage, and modify infrastructure
- Scripting/Programming experience (e.g. Groovy, Python, Java, Go)
