Spinwell is recruiting for a Aerosystems Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AEROSYSTEMS ENGINEER
- Govern Safety and Airworthiness in support of the Type Airworthiness Authority
- Complete the role of UAST lead Project Engineer and Engineering Authority for CFMAV platform
- Manage engineering and airworthiness aspects of UAS platform programme including in-service support, supported by Letter of Airworthiness Authority holder.
- Direct governance of projects, through the provision of technical guidance and scheduling information to the UAS Project/Delivery Manager.
- Provide technical advice and support to Front Line Commands and Operating Units.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE AEROSYSTEMS ENGINEER
- Aviation Engineering (preference for UAS world but general aviation acceptable).
- Demonstrate approved Safety Management Training Qualification.
- Knowledge of Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology required.
- Able to travel within the UK.
- Chartered Engineer.
